The room was quite clean, and i loved the big bed! it was so easy to get to the city centre. i found a lovely bakery just around the corner. The breakfast there was amazing. the staff really kept the place super clean, which i really appreciated.
I noticed a slight cigarette smell in the hallway sometimes. I wish there was a way to eliminate it completely.

The entrance was hard to find, the brown door looked nothing like a hotel. The reception area felt uninviting. Our room was missing hand towels and a bath mat, and there was only half a toilet roll. The value felt poor for the price i paid (i paid £472 two months in advance plus £30 for hotel taxes).

The staff was helpful and accommodating. They really were pretty good. i arrived late, and finding parking was easy because they guided me to a secure spot nearby. the free drinks at the lobby were such a thoughtful touch! the room was clean and quite spacious, which i REALLY appreciated.
the sound isolation wasn't the best, so i could hear some street noise at times.

friendly staffcomfortable beds
i found the staff friendly and helpful. the beds were comfortable and large also. i safety was good leaving my car at the parking.
i found no surface to place my things, other than the bedside tables. the lack of a kettle is a big downside. it would definitely elevate the hotel if they were to include these amenities.

i found the location advantageous, i could arrive at the street 'the diagonal' in about ten minutes. the room offered a reasonable size and i considered it comfortable. the front desk staff spoke english and french and i appreciated their helpful nature.
The room wasn't perfectly clean. The sofa had some stains. i also noticed the floor had cracks. i think some attention to these details would elevate the experience.
